David is an award-winning photographer who began his career in the early 1980s, capturing haute couture on Europe's most prestigious runways. Today, he focuses on vanishing landscapes, as well as cultural and heritage subjects, guided by a deep passion for visual storytelling and a careful eye for the subtle beauty of nature and everyday life.
His landscape work is shaped by extensive research and repeated visits to locations in order to capture the finest light and perspective. Many of his exclusive edition prints are collected by prominent connoisseurs and displayed in palaces and mansions across the UAE.
One of his most notable bodies of work, the Al Hejin collection, was developed through twice-weekly visits over four years to Al Sawan camel racing track in Ras Al Khaimah.
The first six months were spent building trust within the racing community, allowing him to create intimate images that reflect the excitement, drama, and spirit of the sport from an insider's perspective.
In 2023, David was among 74 photographers worldwide invited to exhibit at the Sharjah Xposure festival, where the Al Hejin collection received critical acclaim.
