In a flash, with an accompanying loud mechanical whoosh and clang, the gate goes up in an instant releasing the camel tethers and they are off! Accompanying handlers provide encouragement to their charges to ensure they head in the right direction. Al Sawan, in Ras Al Khaimah, is one of the few remaining places in the UAE to visit and enjoy this traditional cultural spectacle.
Edition prints
This edition is limited to 75 prints. All prints are signed and carry a unique edition number together with the date on which it was captured. A certificate of Authenticity is supplied with each.
All prints have a printed image area of 24 x 36 inches (609.6mm x 914.4mm) together with an additional 2½ (50mm) white border all round.
